Privacy policy

What you can use without submitting information

You can read guides and run worksheets without creating an account. Worksheet calculations take place in your browser. Optional saved plans stay in browser storage, separated by country edition. Downloads and printing happen only when you choose them. We do not treat running a calculator as permission to contact you.

Contact and voluntary sharing

If you email hello@mitey.ca, the MITEY team receives your address and the content you choose to send. We use that information to review and respond to the enquiry, address corrections and manage related service or security records. An enquiry does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing or authorize sharing your documents with a lender. Do not send identity numbers, credit reports, tax returns or banking credentials.

Optional AI and enquiry records

Mitey is an AI helper. After you choose to start and send a question, your recent bounded conversation is processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a reply. It has no access to private accounts, customer books or lender decisions. AI replies can be wrong. Chat does not itself create an enquiry or send an email.

The team form and chat enquiry are separate choices. You review the outgoing message and explicitly consent to MITEY storing your name, email, optional phone and enquiry in its private CRM and contacting you about it. Transcript and worksheet-summary sharing are independent optional boxes, initially unchecked. Only the displayed, selected context is included. The selected public source page, edition, campaign tags and a query-free referrer may accompany the enquiry. We use a temporary salted IP-derived value for service limits.

Canadian and US edition enquiries have separate case workspaces; the selected edition does not determine your citizenship or residence, and separate workspaces do not promise country-local data storage. Cloudflare hosts processing and CRM storage. Resend and our email provider process internal team alerts. An accepted reference confirms a saved enquiry, not lender approval or delivery of an internal alert. We send no automatic customer confirmation email.

Providers, storage and access

Our website host and ordinary email and security providers may process technical records such as IP addresses, request times and browser information to deliver and protect the service. Email and provider processing may occur outside your province, state or country. Access to enquiry information should be limited to the people and providers who need it for the stated purpose. We do not publish private enquiries as testimonials or public examples.

Your choices and questions

You can remove a locally saved plan by clearing this site’s browser storage. For access, correction, deletion or privacy questions about information you have submitted, contact hello@mitey.ca and identify the enquiry without sending sensitive documents. We may need reasonable verification before responding. Retention depends on the purpose and applicable obligations; this notice does not promise an unverified automatic deletion schedule.

External services and age

Official-source and lender links lead to separate services with their own privacy practices. This site is intended for adults preparing a financial decision. We do not request children’s financial information.

US visitor context

Privacy rights can vary by state and by whether a particular law applies to the operator and activity. You may contact us about access, correction or deletion; this notice does not claim that every state-specific regime applies or that visiting this page submits an application for credit.
